A banda estava se encaminhando para a fase final de gravação do que viria a ser seu segundo trabalho (já batizado de "Mangas a Caminho da Feira nº2") quando foi pega de surpresa pela pandemia da COVID-19 e do isolamento social advindo da mesma. Impossibilitado de continuar se encontrando para concluir o projeto, o grupo resolveu seguir um novo impulso criativo, utilizando as formas de produção viáveis para dar vida à composições e ideias guardadas na gaveta. Nascida na despretensão, oriunda dos meios técnicos mais precários em que a obra foi gravada e do clima mais experimental que envolveu a produção à distância, o EP evidencia os novos caminhos sonoros percorridos pelos baianos - explorando elementos que vão do rock psicodélico ao lo-fi hip hop, flertando momentaneamente com o trap e diferentes ritmos regionais.

The band was moving towards the final recording phase of what would become their second record ("Mangas a Caminho da Feira nº2") when they were taken by surprise by the pandemic of COVID-19 and the social isolation resulting from it . Unable to finish the project, the group decided to follow a new creative impulse, using viable forms of production to give life to songs and ideas that were never explored by the band until then. Born in unpretentiousness, originating from the lo-fi gear in which the work was recorded and from the experimental atmosphere that involved distance production, the EP highlights the new sound paths taken by the Tangolo Mangos - exploring elements from psychedelic rock to lo-fi hip hop, flirting momentarily with trap and different regional rhythms.
